Update from VMBA Education Chair Janet Ahl
We are looking forward to a very busy year! We have sixteen classes scheduled through out the state beginning in March in Tidewater (Basics II, March 12 & 14).
We have made two very important changes to the AMB Program for this year. All registrations will be made through VMBA, which means that payment can be made by Master Card, Visa, or check made out to VMBA. Also, in order to "test out" of a course you must be able to verify at least two years experience in the mortgage banking profession.
Several chapters are sporting a growing list of Accredited Mortgage Bankers. This designation is showing up on business cards, marketing flyers and personal brochures. Make sure that you don't get left behind. Call your local chapter Education Chair and get a schedule of classes and a program brochure, or call VMBA at
